A Funny Old Monday

Had a funny old Monday, camper broke down not far from Waimate, got towed and eventually had the issue sorted. Got back to Queenstown only to find a storm had knocked over trees at home. Bit of a surprise but there is lots of firewood there and I cleared most of the branches today. Plus I got to know Mike who runs Makikihi Motors after he rescued me from a ditch with his trusty ute and trailer. It’s not easy owning a place like that but he keeps trucking along, helping stranded motorists such as myself despite numerous injuries he’s picked up on the job, a really good guy.
